Video Content Editor

About the role

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Video & Content Editor to join our restaurant's marketing team. You will be responsible for crafting compelling short-form video content — including Instagram Reels, Stories, and social media posts — that showcases our food, ambience, and offers in ways that attract and engage customers.

Key responsibilities

1. Edit and produce high-quality Reels, short videos, and static posts for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
2. Stay updated on the latest social media trends, audio trends, and editing styles relevant to the food & beverage industry
3. Incorporate trending audio, transitions, text overlays, and effects to maximise reach and engagement
4. Collaborate with the team to shoot raw footage, food styling videos, and behind-the-scenes content on-site
5. Develop a consistent visual identity and brand aesthetic across all content
6. Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with restaurant promotions, seasonal menus, and events
7. Monitor post performance and use insights to improve future content strategy

Skills & requirements

1. Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
2. Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other short-form video platforms
3. Creative eye for food aesthetics, colour grading, and visual storytelling
4. Ability to work independently and deliver content within tight timelines
5. Prior experience in food, hospitality, or lifestyle content editing is a plus
6. Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Photoshop preferred
