Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure statutory compliance, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and hands-on experience with Tally.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries
  • Record purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Maintain general ledger and journal entries
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Generate and verify invoices
  • Track payments and follow up with clients
  • Manage vendor payments
  • Maintain accounts receivable/payable reports

3. GST & Taxation

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
  • Handle TDS calculations and returns
  • Maintain tax records and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with CA for audits and tax filings

4. Bank & Cash Management

  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Monitor cash flow and fund position
  • Handle petty cash management
  • Maintain cheque issuance records

5. Payroll Processing

  • Prepare employee salary sheets
  • Process monthly payroll
  • Maintain attendance and salary records
  • Handle PF, ESI, and statutory deductions

6. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain Profit & Loss statements
  • Prepare Balance Sheet
  • Provide MIS reports to management

7. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain stock register
  • Record inward and outward materials
  • Monitor inventory valuation
  • Coordinate with store department

8. Audit & Compliance

  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Maintain proper documentation for verification
  • Follow company financial policies

9. Software & Documentation

  • Work on Tally ERP / Tally Prime
  • Maintain data in MS Excel
  • Generate reports from accounting software
  • Ensure backup and security of financial data


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in construction/structural industry (added advantage)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
