Job Description
Billing Executive – Transport Division
Job Summary
A Billing Executive responsible for preparing transport invoices, verifying freight charges, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with accounts and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
Key Responsibilities
* Verify the transport invoices and freight bills.
* Verify trip sheets, delivery challans, and LR (Lorry Receipt) before billing.
* Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
* Calculate freight charges, loading/unloading charges, tolls, and additional costs.
* Coordinate with transport operations and accounts department for billing clarification.
* Ensure timely submission of invoices to clients.
* Handle billing discrepancies and corrections.
* Maintain client billing reports and outstanding payment records.
* Assist in monthly billing reports and reconciliation.
Required Skills
* Transport billing and freight calculation
* Knowledge of LR, POD, trip sheet verification
* Invoice preparation and billing documentation
* MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
* Data entry and record management
* Basic accounting knowledge
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Communication and coordination skills
