Job Summary:
A telemarketer drives sales and generates leads by contacting potential or existing customers via phone, using persuasive techniques and scripts to promote products or services. Key duties include making high-volume calls, handling customer inquiries, recording data in CRM systems, and meeting daily/monthly sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound/Inbound Calling: Initiate calls to prospective leads and handle inbound queries to promote services.
- Sales & Persuasion: Use scripts and product knowledge to explain features, benefits, and handle customer objections to close sales.
- Lead Generation & Scheduling: Identify potential customers and schedule appointments .
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contact information, and feedback in CRM software.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed specific daily call quotas (e.g., 50–150+ calls) and monthly conversion/sales targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and strong telephone etiquette.
- Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to influence, handle rejections, and turn complaints into opportunities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers, CRM software, and data entry.
- Attributes: Resilience, persistence, a positive attitude, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Workable +4
Common Performance Metrics
- Daily/weekly call volume.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Conversion rate (sales closed).
Language: Fluency in Tamil is required and Basic English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
Working Conditions:
1. Work Environment: The Customer Care Executive will work in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
2. Hours of Work: The Customer Care Executive will work a standard 9-hour shift, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
