Position Title: School Driver

Job Summary:

The school driver is responsible for safely transporting students, staff, and other authorized personnel to and from i2global school locations. The driver is expected to follow all traffic laws and maintain a high level of safety and professionalism during transportation.

Responsibilities:

1. Transportation:

• Safely transport students, staff, and other authorized individuals to and from designated locations.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit.

1. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school vehicle.
• Report any mechanical issues or concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.

1. Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow school policies and procedures related to student transportation.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations for passengers during transit.

1. Communication:

• Maintain open and clear communication with school administrators, staff, and parents as needed.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delays immediately.

1. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class.
2. Driving Experience: Previous experience as a school or commercial driver is preferred.
3. Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record with no history of major accidents or violations.
4. Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety and the ability to maintain a safe driving environment.
5. Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and respond to changes in routes or assignments.
7. Patience and Calmness: Maintain a patient and calm demeanor, especially in challenging situations.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
