ROCS Manager
The ROCS Manager is responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the Rigid Overhead Catenary System (ROCS) used in metro or rail networks. The role ensures that the rigid conductor rail system meets all performance, safety, and reliability requirements for the traction power distribution to trains.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, execution, and supervision of ROCS installation works for metro or railway projects.
Lead and coordinate the design review, interface management, and integration with related systems (such as power supply, traction substations, OCS, and rolling stock).
Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards (EN, IEC, IEEE, etc.), and safety regulations.
Oversee the construction, alignment, and mechanical/electrical installation of rigid overhead conductor rails, brackets, insulators, and supports.
Supervise testing and commissioning activities, ensuring performance validation and certification.
Coordinate with civil and systems teams for tunnel interfaces, structural fixings, and clearances.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in the ROCS scope of work.
Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
Develop maintenance plans and procedures to ensure long-term system reliability and safety
