Vice President, Finance Accounting Manager

In this role, you will:

Manage a team of individual contributors supporting significantly diverse and complex functional areas related to financial accounting
Manage directly or through a team, accounting activities for one or more groups within a line of business
Good US GAAP accounting knowledge of Accounting for Loans, Transfers.
Good knowledge of the control environment in a Legal Entity Controller team. Knowledge of SOX and RCSA.
Ensure books and records are in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Good Double Entry book keeping skills and ability to create complex journal entries.
Direct completion of complex accounting tasks pertaining to accounts, statements, systems and records
Create and implement controls to ensure accuracy of data
Maintain advanced knowledge of current accounting practices and regulatory requirements
Enforce adherence to internal and external accounting principles and policies
Plan, design and direct the production of financial and regulatory reports
Manage response and resolution to audit inquiries
Provide technical interpretation on various matters and a key change agent in building and adopting best practices within the functional area
Lead implementation of complex projects or initiatives impacting one or more lines of business
Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Support the company’s business initiatives including new products, business expansions, acquisitions and dispositions, and any other initiativesor activities as necessary
Interact with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
Manage a team of individual contributors, cross-functional or virtual teams
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of CA / CPA and experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience

Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

Experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, Risk Reporting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Power BI
Has reported on FR Y14 M/Q will be an added benefit.

Job Expectations:

Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Ability to prioritize, adapt when plans change
Work timings are 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM , however late night stretch may be required on critical close or reporting deadlines.
