Job Description

Greeting customers: Greet customers and escort them to their tables
Taking orders: Take orders for food and drinks, including using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization
Making recommendations: Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials
Delivering food and drinks: Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared
Checking satisfaction: Check that customers are satisfied with their meal
Preparing bills: Prepare the bill for tables when requested, and cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid
Cleaning tables: Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
Handling complaints: Handle any complaints and make sure customers are happy
Up-selling: Up-sell when appropriate
