Job Description

Job Title: SEO Specialist Location: Coimbatore Department: Digital Marketing Job Overview: The SEO Specialist will be responsible for implementing SEO and local search strategies to increase the online presence and inbound traffic for our brand. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving search results and user experience. Responsibilities and Duties: Website Optimization: Conduct full-scale SEO audits and analyses of websites including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements. Keyword Research: Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic and create content strategies around these. Content Strategy: Work with the editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming. Link Building: Develop and implement link building strategies. Analytics: Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools to monitor traffic, understand user behavior, and measure ROI on SEO efforts. Reporting: Provide ongoing reports of the progress and results of SEO strategies to stakeholders. SEO Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines. Collaboration: Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. Technical SEO: Evaluate product pages, landing pages, and overall site structure to optimize for search engines. User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure SEO practices are incorporated into the web design. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 2+ years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns. Skills: Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods. Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. Knowledge of keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, WordPress, or other content management systems. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills (Preferred, but Not Required): Certification in Google Analytics or similar credentials. Experience in a specific industry, such as healthcare or e-commerce. Multilingual SEO experience.
