Site Engineer Roles & Responsibilities - Activities Verify the current LAN devices and provide the details to client Engineer Connect the power cord, network cables, SFP ports and power on the network device. Make network cable connection changes according to the instructions by the Client Engineer Do physical name labelling on the new network devices as per the instructions by the Client offshore engineer. Connect the switches to laptop through console cable and provide remote access to Client offshore engineer. Make a note of the user desk network port numbers and change the cable on the network switch to move the port from UBBP to network. Connect UBBP Laptop/Desktop to LAN port, make BIOS changes as per the instructions provided by the Client offshore engineer. Boot UBBP Laptop/Desktop with PXE and start the imaging through SCCM. Configure user Outlook profile, OneDrive for Business profile, configure shared printer as per the instructions provided by the Client offshore engineer. Check user access to identified applications as per the instructions provided by the Client offshore engineer. Configure Network Printer and Scanner. Troubleshoot any issues related to the Laptop/Desktop reimaging.
