Ability to implement PHP /and WordPress sites based on specific customer requirements Apply strong client-facing programming skills with jQuery, Angular, React and/or Node. Ability to work efficiently and accurately, balancing priorities and deadlines. Ability to create and use RESTful and JSON APIs and services. Work with Project Managers to define and resolve issues, and to define and verify business requirements. Work with Project Managers and other team members to design modern, cloud-based solutions. Work with Project Management to define, design and estimate new modules and solutions. Participate in design and documentation of technical workflows and detailed technical solution options, and communicate these to project and customer management. Develop and maintain high quality, efficient, adaptable and maintainable software modules to meet business and design requirements. Design and implement modern, rich client user experiences. Ensure performance is scalable and robust. Define and execute unit and integration test plans that are detailed and thorough, including ability to define test data that comprehensively addresses business requirements. Investigate, correct and test fixes to software defects. Exercise industry standard source control practices. Respond to frequent, high priority customer support and information requests. SYSTEM / SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS Candidate must have significant, relevant, and specific experience in the following: 1. 5+ years experience with PHP /CMS is required 2. 5+ years experience with database development in one or more of the following areas: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, CosmoDB, Mongo DB 3. 5+ years’ experience with JavaScript, JQuery is required 4. 5+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS and related technologies 5. 5+ years’ experience with PHP 6. Experience with Responsive Design and responsive website development 7. Experience with GitHub, GitLab or similar source code repositories Development in the following technical areas is strongly desired: 1. WordPress 2. Cloud platforms - AWS or Azure 3. Object Oriented Development 4. IIS, Apache 5. RESTful APIs Other beneficial skills and experience: 1. Java and Python 2. Experience with SSO, SAML, Active Directory and/or LDAP 3. NodeJS 4.
