Furniture/Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client & Architect Coordination Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients

• Understand project requirements, vision, and goals
• Participate in discussions and project planning

2. Design & DevelopmentCreate furniture concepts, layouts, and detailed designs

• Develop functional, aesthetic, and manufacturable solutions
• Prepare design presentations and concepts

3. Material & Finish SelectionSuggest suitable materials, finishes, and hardware:

• Ensure designs align with current trends and quality standards
• Maintain strong attention to detail

4. Technical DocumentationPrepare and review:

• AutoCAD drawings
• 3D views
• Technical specifications
• Work on design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp

5. Execution & Production SupportCoordinate with the production team

• Ensure smooth execution of projects
• Maintain high-quality output and timely completion

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of experience in furniture or interior design
• Strong portfolio of residential and office projects
• Proficiency in:

1. AutoCAD
2. SketchUp
3. Knowledge of 3ds Max is an added advantage

• Good understanding of:

1. Materials
2. Finishes
3. Hardware
4. Joinery

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
