The opportunity

Join our GDS Markets and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As an operations professional, you will work across teams both onshore and offshore to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.

The practice also works closely with the Region/Service Line/BD leadership in developing, executing, and monitoring the strategy and market leadership plans. The service manages the accounts support review process and facilitates the business knowledge and best practices across regions. This role requires the ability to combine strong analytical skills and a strategic mind set with real-world perspective driven by an understanding of both clients’ experiences and broader marketplace drivers.

A collaborative mind set is also crucial, as the person in this role will have a key role to play in supporting networks and sharing information across sectors, service lines, accounts, and solutions, and using that information to further strengthen the quality of materials produced.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide operational support through effective co-ordination.
  • Implement an efficient end-to-end process and governance for new joiner training, onboarding, and counsellor allocations.
  • Develop and update a calendar of activities and events, incorporating training and development initiatives, DE&I activities, key dates, actions, and reminders for counselling connect groups and counsellors.
  • Measure success through Learning and Development (L&D) statistics reports and regular monitoring of progress.
  • Ensure all Teams channels are properly managed and provide regular communications and engagement updates.
  • Execute monthly housekeeping reviews as part of the ongoing governance process.
  • Conduct headcount analysis and full-time equivalent (FTE) assessments to align with global, EMEIA, and sector timetabling.
  • Collaborate with recruitment & onboarding teams to ensure cohesive transitions for new joiners.
  • Support on 'Winning in The Market' process and 'Connect EY Sessions' across the organization.
  • Handle People MI reporting and statistics, and monitor staff performance and progression.
  • Support with the functional planning, finance, and budgeting processes.

  • Interact effectively and maintain good rapport among a diverse group of team members, customers, and colleagues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
  • Interact directly with the clients to capture first level requirements for the projects and capture the requirements for complex projects
  • Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to GDS Markets leadership as required
  • Demonstrate best work practices within department and among other teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Graduate / Post-graduate degree - (BusinessAdministration and Management) with 6 to 8 years of work experience
  • 6 to 8 years work experience in one or more areas:
    • Operations Management & Excellence
    • Project & Program Management
    • Process Design & Improvement
    • Client Services & Relationship Management e. C-Suite & Leadership Enablement
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and/or projects
  • Agile program management experience
  • Experience in professional services or similar industries
  • High level of networking, team building and stakeholder management skills

Technologies and Tools

  • MS Office - Demonstrated expert level experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
