Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager- Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and technical knowledge to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, product managers, and development teams, to gather and document requirements, analyse processes, and drive the successful delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, objectives, and processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business needs, systems, and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility.
  • Work closely with development teams to provide clear and concise requirements documentation, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and process flows.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, providing insights and recommendations based on business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive testing of solutions against requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including business cases, project charters, and project plans.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues and risks, ensuring timely communication and escalation as needed.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented solutions, identifying areas for further improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance business analysis processes.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and practices.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, with experience in working with development teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation techniques, including the use of tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and managing conflicting requirements.
  • Knowledge of business process modelling, and workflow analysis tools is a plus.
  • CBAP or CCBA certification is a plus.
