Helpdesk Executive -Transport Services

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Support:

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages related to transport queries and issues.

• Provide accurate information and assistance regarding transport schedules, routes, and services.

• Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

2. Coordination and Scheduling:

• Coordinate with drivers, transport providers, and internal teams to schedule and dispatch vehicles. • Monitor vehicle movements and ensure timely delivery and pickup services.

• Maintain updated records of transport schedules, routes, and driver assignments.

3. Issue Resolution:

• Identify and resolve transport-related issues promptly to minimize service disruptions.

• Coordination with service providers to ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained regularly.

• Manage incidents and emergencies, providing support and solutions as needed.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain transport logs, reports, and documentation.

• Analyze transport data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

• Assist in preparing performance reports for management review.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.

• Promote and enforce safety standards among drivers and transport staff.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of transport operations.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest and implement improvements to transport processes and procedures.

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in transport logistics.

• Participate in training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:

• A degree in logistics, transportation, or any related field is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of transport logistics and fleet management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using transport management systems and office software.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
