Job Description
Job Title: HR Manager & Administration
Role Summary
The HR Manager & Administration is responsible for managing the full spectrum of human resources functions along with overseeing administrative operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resource Management
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Handle end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, onboarding)
- Manage employee lifecycle (joining to exit formalities)
- Maintain employee records and HRMIS systems
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.)
- Handle payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Manage employee performance appraisal processes
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues
2. Talent Management & Development
- Identify training needs and organize learning programs
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Develop retention strategies
- Support leadership in succession planning
3. Administration Management
- Oversee office administration and facility management
- Manage vendor contracts (housekeeping, security, maintenance)
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance
- Handle travel, logistics, and office asset management
- Monitor administrative budgets and cost control
4. Compliance & Legal
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
- Handle audits (internal/external HR audits)
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation
- Liaise with government authorities when required
5. Employee Relations
- Act as a bridge between management and employees
- Promote a positive workplace culture
- Conduct employee feedback surveys
- Handle conflict resolution and counseling
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Organizational and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in HR & Administration (depending on company size)
