NPCI Product Operations

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)


Expected Key Results Activities (Detailed KPIs)
  • Product/Process Knowledge :- 

UPI/IMPS/AePS/BBPS/NeTC reconciliation 

  • Able to perform Daily reconciliation and settlement of Payment product transactions with NIL differences.
  • Handle dispute resolutions with raising chargeback and timely re-presentments. 
  • Possess and apply technical expertise to the area of work.
  • Hands on reconciliation experience in any one of the product is a must
  • Keeps up to date with changes to products and processes. 
  • Maintain coordination with NPCI and other banks for product related queries and complaint resolutions. 
  • Process Management :-
  • Manage error free and friction less transaction processing for assigned process.
  • Quick adaptability to changes with regards to process/projects etc
  • Positive response to the pace of change and able to accomplish given tasks and actions in order to meet business goals.
  • Performs tasks accurately and thoroughly, double checks the accuracy of the process. 
  • Possess ability to understand the work, plans and organizes the work effectively.
  • Ownership and Completion of work as assigned.
  • Operational Accuracy at transaction processing level :
  • Understands various risks at transaction level and some of the mandatory actions that need to be performed.
  • Able to identify sudden changes at transactional level
  • Escalates issues to senior management within parameters of role.
  • Ensures processes are performed as per SOP and update the SOP wherever required in case of changes. 



  • Query/problem resolution
  • Understand issues and perform right escalations
  • Ability to provide incident reporting and data for arriving at meaningful root cause analysis.
  • Ensures all queries/complaints related to process area are effectively resolved.
  • Responds promptly in an efficient and accurate manner as per the required TAT communication.
  • Ability to clearly communicate so as to be understood.
  • Ability to understand instructions and written documentation clearly and accurately.



Demonstrate (Key competencies)
  • Hands on NPCI product reconciliations knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS office. Good knowledge of Banking Software.
  • Ability to cooperate and work as a team in an open and approachable style
  • Be a good team player taking teams goals into consideration.
  • Clear communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a startup based and dynamic work environment.
