Job Description
Position: Camera Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist the camera operator in setting up and operating camera equipment for film, television, or video productions.
- Help with the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of cameras, lenses, and related gear.
- Prepare and organize equipment before shoots, including loading and unloading camera gear.
- Set up and adjust lighting, tripods, and other accessories as directed by the camera operator or director of photography.
- Monitor and maintain proper focus, framing, and camera movement during filming.
- Handle tasks such as changing lenses, batteries, and memory cards as needed.
- Basic knowledge of camera equipment and operation.
