EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

 

• Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
• Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
• Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

 

The opportunity

This role leads  provides entry level technical support for basic cloud computing issues with minimal oversight. Identifies, resolves, or escalates hardware or software issues that span multiple technology domains.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

• Designs, implements, and deploys custom cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies opportunities for improvement, escalating as necessary.
• Monitors and supports multiple cloud based technology domains/platforms through the use of monitoring tools and applications. Maintains proficient knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms.
• Trains and mentors staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required. Writes and maintains documentation for the department.
• Administers systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks. Evaluating system performance and capacity in a large distributed infrastructure environment
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Leads the definition of product roadmaps and architecture for a product family, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, and automation within hybrid or public cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent experience/certification in cloud technologies.
• Primary Tech Skills - Knowledge of AWS ecosystem. CI/CD pipeline.
• Deep familiarity with CICD tooling and development, especially GitHub Actions.
• Hand on experience with AWS Services such as CloudFormation and Docker, along with Cloud based databases, Cloud Platform engineering, Cloud native application development and automated testing.
• Good in atleast one programming language expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or preferably TypeScript
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Able to work independently and driven by a strong passion for identifying and resolving developer pain points, while effectively applying Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, cloud compliance frameworks, and hybrid cloud architecture.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
