Job Description

Job Title: Field Project Engineer – 33kV ST Line & Distribution PanelJob SummaryThe Field Project Engineer is responsible for end-to-end execution of 33kV ST line and distribution panel (DP) projects, including installation, testing, commissioning, and post-commissioning AMC support. The role involves site supervision, coordination, quality control, and ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Installation & ExecutionSupervise installation of 33kV ST line (poles/towers, insulators, conductors, hardware fittings)
  • Ensure correct stringing, sagging, and tensioning of conductors
  • Oversee installation of 33kV Distribution Panel (DP), switchgear, and associated equipment
  • Ensure proper cable laying, termination, and earthing system
  • 2. Testing & CommissioningConduct pre-commissioning checks and inspections
  • Perform electrical testing (insulation resistance, continuity, relay testing, etc.)
  • Coordinate with client/utility for approvals and energization
  • Ensure safe commissioning and functional validation of system
  • 3. AMC / Maintenance (ANC)Handle Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) activities post-commissioning
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of ST lines and panels
  • Troubleshoot faults and ensure quick restoration of supply
  • Maintain service logs and maintenance records
  • Coordinate with clients for scheduled maintenance visits
