Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – QA (Quality assurance) Cypress and JavaScript SDET

We are seeking a skilled Principal Consultant with expertise in Cypress and JavaScript SDET to join our team. As a consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities.

§ Lead a team of SDET engineers to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.

§ Design and implement robust test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript to validate software functionality and performance.

§ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.

§ Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality test code and maintainable automation suites.

§ Analyze test results and identify opportunities to optimize test coverage and improve test efficiency.

§ Drive continuous integration and delivery practices to enable rapid and reliable software releases.

§ Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications we seek in you!

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

§ Proven experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation.

§ Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Cypress or similar testing frameworks.

§ Experience leading and mentoring teams of SDET engineers.

§ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

§ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

§ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

§ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

§ Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

§ Certifications in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA).

§ Experience with other testing tools and technologies such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.

§ Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

§ Experience with performance testing and/or security testing methodologies and tools.

§ Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles.
