Waiter / Steward

Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service by maintaining cleanliness, assisting in food and beverage service, and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Support:

• Assist in setting up dining areas, ensuring tables are properly arranged and clean.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and kitchen support areas.
• Ensure proper handling of cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation standards as per company policies.

Stock & Inventory Management:

• Assist in stocking and organizing service equipment and supplies.
• Refill water, condiments, and other table essentials as needed.

Teamwork & Coordination:

• Work closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
