Job Description
- Develop original furniture concepts based on client briefs or market trends
- Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using design software (e.g., CAD tools)
- Select appropriate materials (wood, metal, plastic, upholstery, etc.)
- Collaborate with manufacturers, engineers, and craftsmen to ensure feasibility
- Ensure designs meet safety and quality standards
- Conduct market research to stay updated on design trends and consumer preferences
- Modify and refine designs based on feedback and testing
- Oversee production processes and ensure design accuracy
- Manage project timelines and budgets
