Sanding Supervisor – Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sanding wood furniture stock, applying knowledge and experience with specific sanding processes, equipment, and kinds of wood: Computes amount of sanding supplies required, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials. Inspects sanded material for smoothness and to verify conformance to company standards. Trains new workers and assigns workers to work stations. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (industry) Master Title.
