Fabric Technician JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail – oriented purchasing Assistant to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to order supplies and equipment in accordance with our company’s need.

This will involve researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate order records, including dates, invoices, and discount. Familiarity with supply chain procedures and the ability to create and interpret cost analyses are important for this role.

Your goal will be to make cost-effective purchases while ensuring our inventory remains well – stocked.

RESPONSIBILTIES

1. Manage vendor relationships to support the achievement of agreed commercial outcomes

2.Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

3.Research potential vendors

4.Track orders and ensure timely delivery

5.Update internal database with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

6.Conduct market research to identify pricing trends

7.prepare cost analyses

8.Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

9.Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

10. Identify new suppliers

Requirements and skills

 Good understanding of supply chain procedure

 Knowledge of market research

 Solid organizational skills

 Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

 Good negotiation skills

 Knowledge of fabric quality

Experience

  3 to 5 Years compulsory
