Area Manager

Role Purpose: Manages efficient operations of the cabling production and ensure adherence to production and maintenance plans, budgets and quality norms and SOPs Key Accountabilities: Engineering Graduate with 10-12 years of experience in plant operations. Green Belt in Six Sigma Preferred Experience and Qualification:

Supports establishing of the high level production process and master production plan

Responsible to prioritize and roll out targets based on production plan

Responsible for delivery of the allocated operations on time, in budget and to specifications (PandL accountabilities)

Tracks and reports progress to Plant Head for production targets

Support maintenance and development of IMS/QMS standard

Coordinate with the maintenance function to ensure the maintenance is performed periodically

Custodian of the production area ã�â�ã�â� responsible for quality and safety

Responsible for propagating a culture of good manufacturing practices driving values of Sterlite along with continuous improvement

Responsible for mentoring and coaching the reporting staff and other employees
