Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager-VBA Coder

In this role, you will be responsible to demonstrate innovation and intuition in identifying areas where you can better/develop smarter VBA coding.


The resource would be part of the marketing & strategy team and will be responsible for-

· Design and develop complex interactive reports on excel using VBA.

· Automate manual processes utilizing VBA.

· Develop existing and creating new applications/excel reporting system using VBA.

· Develop new features and enhancing existing ones according to specification

· Develop multiple applications in VBA, VBS, to support operation in Excel, Access and SharePoint.

· Improving non-functional aspects, like performance and security of the application

· Generate various reports & ad-hoc data analytics request and their maintenance.

· Provide excellent customer service to our customers

· Responsible to demonstrate capacity for critical thinking and analysis.

· Responsible to showcase strong work ethics, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment

· Candidate should be comfortable with 5 days working and should be flexible w.r.t timings.

· Proficient in developing custom applications on Microsoft Excel, MS access and SharePoint using VBA.

· Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly advanced use of Excel and Access)

· Capable to manage full development life cycle i.e., analysis, design, implementation, and support of VBA based reporting system.

· Large Volume/Multiple Source - data conversion, data cleansing, report creation.

· Perform Data validation to ensure accuracy and quality of data.

· Ability to gather and understand requirements and collaborate with business process owners and management

· Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills.

· Working knowledge of MS SharePoint and its various features.

Minimum qualifications

· Bachelors in Engineering / Masters in Engineering or equivalent

· Any graduate degree or equivalent or Master’s degree with a strong academic record

· Good experience in VBA coding.

· Good communication and leadership skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong time management and planning skills.

· Skilled in MS SharePoint, VBA, Tableau, OBIEE will be added advantage.

Preferred qualifications

· Previous experience in Data Engineer role with expertise on VBA coding

· Previous experience in Advanced visualization

· Previous experience in a customer service role chat/email

· Should be able to work independently and capable to lead projects

· Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills

· Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent

· Must be able to work on a flexible schedule (including weekend shift )

· Strong attention to detail.
