Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to manage end-to-end human resource operations for Uttapam – Flavours of South. The role involves recruitment, payroll management, attendance tracking, and employee training to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a high-performance team culture.

• Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & StaffingHandle end-to-end hiring for kitchen staff, service team, and support roles
• Create job postings and source candidates through online/offline channels
• Conduct interviews and coordinate trial shifts
• Ensure timely onboarding of new employees

2. Payroll ManagementMaintain accurate salary records for all employees

• Process monthly payroll including attendance, leaves, and deductions
• Handle advances, incentives, and overtime calculations
• Ensure timely salary disbursement

3. Attendance & Workforce ManagementTrack daily attendance, shifts, and weekly offs

• Maintain leave records and manage absenteeism
• Ensure proper staffing levels at both outlets
• Prepare monthly attendance reports

4. Employee Training & DevelopmentTrain new hires on company standards, hygiene, and service quality

• Conduct regular refresher training for existing staff
• Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Improve team efficiency and customer service quality

5. HR Operations & ComplianceMaintain employee records and documentation

• Implement HR policies and discipline standards
• Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations
• Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in HR, preferably in hospitality or restaurant industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of payroll systems and attendance management
• Ability to handle multiple roles in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership mindset with problem-solving ability
• PreferredExperience managing multi-location teams
• Familiarity with restaurant operations
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and compliance
