Job Description
To manage daily operations of the petrol pump efficiently, ensure smooth fuel dispensing, maintain staff discipline, and maximize sales with full compliance and safety.
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily functioning of the petrol pump
- Ensure uninterrupted fuel availability (petrol, diesel, etc.)
- Monitor fuel dispensing accuracy and prevent pilferage
- Maintain cleanliness and proper layout of the station
2. Staff Management
- Supervise pump attendants and other staff
- Manage duty rosters and shift schedules
- Train staff on customer service and safety protocols
- Ensure discipline, uniform, and proper behavior
3. Sales & Customer Handling
- Ensure fast and efficient customer service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
- Drive sales of fuel and additional products (oil, accessories, etc.)
- Build relationships with regular customers (fleet owners, etc.)
4. Accounts & Cash Handling
- Maintain daily sales records and cash reconciliation
- Monitor digital payments (UPI, cards, etc.)
- Coordinate with accountant for reporting
- Prevent revenue leakage or fraud
5. Inventory & Stock Control
- Track fuel stock levels and place timely orders
- Maintain stock of lubricants and other products
- Conduct regular stock audits
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety norms and government regulations
- Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency protocols
- Keep all licenses, permits, and documentation updated
