Job Description

  • Conduct daily field visits to residential areas, housing societies, and individual homes in assigned territories (e.g., Gomti Nagar, Indira Nagar, Aliganj, or other Lucknow zones) to generate leads and promote solar rooftop systems.
  • Identify potential customers, assess their energy needs (e.g., electricity bills, roof space, shading), perform basic site surveys, and explain solar benefits like bill savings, subsidies, net metering, and environmental impact.
  • Handle objections (e.g., cost concerns, installation doubts), negotiate deals, and close sales—often targeting quick conversions for residential rooftop projects.
  • Achieve or exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets (e.g., leads generated, site visits, installations booked, revenue from sales/commissions per kW).
  • Coordinate with technical/EPC teams for site feasibility, installations, and after-sales support.


Key Skills:

  • Excellent convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills (Hindi fluency mandatory; local UP dialect + basic English).
  • Basic knowledge of solar products (panels, inverters, batteries, rooftop systems) and benefits (training often provided).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, resilient to rejection, and comfortable with fieldwork (walking/biking in Lucknow heat/traffic).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for direct consumer interactions.
  • Smartphone proficiency (for CRM apps, GPS, photos of sites, WhatsApp follow-ups).


Other Essentials:

  • Own two-wheeler (bike/scooter) + valid driving license (mandatory in most listings; fuel allowance often provided).
  • Local to Lucknow or nearby (willing to cover city zones extensively).
  • Documents: PAN, Aadhaar, bank account for incentives/PF.
