Project Co-ordination Engineer (Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm )

Skills

1)     Understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedule.

2)     Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with trade, Construction procedures and practice, and Execution of Works.

3)     Computer Literacy – MS Word & Excel ( auto CAD )

4)     Good Communication skill in English – writing / typing

5)     Attention to detail and analytical skills.

Role & responsibilities

1.    To Understand the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedule.

2.    Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff. Attend meetings at site. Work closely with the Project Managers and other Agencies on Site for engineering coordination and work execution.

3.    Receipt and review MEP submittals. Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.

4.    Assist in preparation of Shop Drawings, Product specification confirmation with Tender for purchase of correct material.

5.    To Prepare Working Plans, schedules, Estimation of material and raising demands.

6.    Material inspection and to ensure that procured material meets the selection criteria.

7.    Managing Material and T & P provisions

8.    Monitoring and Coordination of Installation, testing & commissioning of fire fighting systems at Project Site.

9.    Organising and managing Labour working at site and Tracking of work schedule so as to get work done within specified time line.

10. Controlling actual Execution of work done at site as per Drawings & Specifications. Preparation and submittal of Daily Reports to Company as required.

11. Ensuring Measurement of Material and works and prepare material Bill & submit to Client.

12. As per site requirement, resolving any issues at site with Seniors or client engineer.

13. Assist in getting Approvals / NOC as required.

14. Coordinating Work Completion and Handing Over of Site. Visiting Projects. 

Desired Candidate Profile

●      Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Fire Engineering / Electrical Engineering.

●      Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning, Estimation & Execution of fire fighting and fire alarm systems.

●      Good knowledge of Fire Fighting and Plumbing systems, Materials and Standards.
