Designing Control Systems for Naval Platforms

1. Designing network architecture for SCADA system, PLC or VME based remote terminal units, and command consoles along with redundancies
2. Defining ConOps of the system
3. Calculating power requirement of the system
4. Preparation of schemes, cable schedule and equipment schedule for a control system
5. Preparation of interface control document
6. Understanding and experience of computer networks and communication protocols, SCADA systems, VME, VPX and PLC Technologies
7. Hands on experience on 3D CAD and MATLAB, MS Office tools is desirable
8. Understanding of Electrical system schematics and interfaces with other systems
9. Knowledge of National and International standards related to electrical systems, ability to understand design rules with proficiency of using the same in electrical and control systems
