Job Title : Purchase Manager – Refurbished Laptop Division
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations in the refurbished laptops business. The role involves managing the purchase team, coordinating field activities, developing vendor relationships, and driving strategic initiatives to increase procurement volumes and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
Lead and manage the overall purchase team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor team performance and provide guidance to achieve procurement targets.
Field CoordinationCoordinate with field executives to plan and execute daily schedules efficiently.
Ensure proper allocation of tasks and timely reporting from field staff.
Pricing & CommunicationEvaluate laptop units and provide competitive pricing.
Share pricing updates promptly in WhatsApp groups across multiple cities.
Vendor Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with store stakeholders including HC, ADM, and GM.
Ensure long-term partnerships for consistent supply.
Business DevelopmentIdentify and onboard new stores to expand procurement channels.
Develop tie-ups to increase sourcing volume and market presence.
City Visit PlanningPlan and execute city visits every 3–6 months to strengthen vendor networks and explore new opportunities.
Conduct on-ground assessments and relationship-building activities.
Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement strategies to increase procurement numbers and profitability.
Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in procurement, preferably in electronics or refurbished products.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Familiarity with market pricing and vendor management.
Willingness to travel as required.
