Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Field Sales Executive to promote and sell the Silgo Star range of jewellery care products to jewellers, jewellery manufacturers, workshops, wholesalers and related trade customers. The role involves extensive field visits, developing new customers, maintaining existing relationships, demonstrating products, generating orders and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit jewellery retailers, manufacturers and workshops daily within the assigned territory.
- Introduce and demonstrate Silgo Star products and their benefits.
- Generate new business while maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
- Ensure timely order booking and coordinate deliveries with distributors or the company.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and pending orders.
- Identify potential distributors, dealers and bulk customers.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and customer requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and basic user training where required.
- Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with the technical and customer support teams.
- Maintain daily visit reports, sales reports and customer records using the company's ERP/CRM.
- Promote company schemes, launches and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure outstanding payments are followed up as per company policy.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a high standard of ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate preferred (any discipline).
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Chemistry is an advantage.
- Experience in B2B field sales is preferred.
- Experience in jewellery, chemicals, plating chemicals, jewellery machinery or industrial products will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building ability.
- Self-driven and target-oriented.
- Comfortable travelling extensively.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones, email and mobile applications.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations confidently.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
Travel Requirements
- Daily field visits are mandatory.
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving licence and preferably own a two-wheeler.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally outside it.
