Senior Officer- PMR Lab

Responsibilities

• Operate and control the process equipment efficiently to ensure the production target is met while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitor all plant equipment to identify and address potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to report any equipment malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment readings, and other relevant data to support effective reporting and analysis.
• Participate in safety meetings, contribute to safety initiatives, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to sustainable operational practices.
• Support and train new operators, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate shift handovers and relay important information.

Qualifications

Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in the Copper industry or a similar manufacturing environment.

Education Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Certification Required

• Relevant certifications in process operations, industrial safety, or equipment handling are advantageous.
