Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Development

Identify and onboard distributors, dealers, and retailers in assigned regions

Develop relationships with builders, contractors, and electricians

Expand market presence in new territories

2. Sales Execution

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Promote company’s range of house wires (FR, FRLS, HRFR, etc.)

Generate inquiries and convert leads into orders

3. Channel Management

Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers

Ensure regular order flow and payment collection

Support distributors with pricing, schemes, and promotions

4. Builder & Project Sales

Pitch products to builders for bulk supply contracts

Work on project approvals and vendor registrations

Follow up on ongoing projects for repeat business

5. Market Intelligence

Track competitor pricing (Polycab, Finolex, RR Kabel)

Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends

Suggest pricing and scheme strategies

6. Reporting

Maintain daily sales reports and visit reports

Track pipeline, orders, and collections

Core Sales Skills

Strong negotiation and closing ability

Relationship management with channel partners

Territory sales and distribution development

Industry Skills (Important)

Knowledge of electrical wires, cables, or building materials

Understanding of dealer-distributor network model

Familiarity with builder/project sales cycle

Communication Skills

Fluent in Hindi, English, and local language (Marathi preferred)

Confident in field sales and client presentations

Other Skills

Self-driven and target-oriented

Ability to travel extensively

Basic MS Excel / reporting skills
