Architect

An architect plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings and structures, balancing functionality, aesthetics, safety, and budget constraints. They manage projects from concept to completion, preparing blueprints, feasibility reports, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Create detailed, creative, and functional designs using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Client Management: Meet with clients to define requirements, project scope, and budgets.
• Construction Administration: Perform site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and solve on-site issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
• Coordination: Collaborate with structural engineers, contractors, and other specialists.
• Documentation: Compile project specifications, permits, and construction documents.
