Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development/Sales Executive to drive sales of solar plants for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will identify leads, nurture relationships, close deals, and revive lapsed clients, leveraging exceptional psychological insight to build trust and deliver value without pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads for solar plant installations through networking, cold outreach, and digital channels.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess energy needs, customize solar solutions, and present ROI-driven proposals.
  • Master client psychology to understand objections, motivations, and pain points, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Execute strategic, non-intrusive follow-ups (e.g., value-added updates, personalized insights) to nurture prospects without annoyance.
  • Revive and reconvert dormant or unhappy clients by empathetically addressing past concerns, rebuilding trust, and demonstrating service improvements.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets while maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless project handovers and high client satisfaction.
  • Track sales metrics using CRM tools and provide regular performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in solar/renewable energy (knowledge of solar plant tech, subsidies, and financing a plus).
  • Advanced client psychology skills: Ability to read emotional cues, handle objections empathetically, and influence decisions ethically.
  • Expertise in revival strategies for dissatisfied clients, with success stories in reconverting lost business.
  • Strong follow-up discipline: Skilled at timed, personalized communication that adds value and builds rapport.
  • Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and sales tools; basic knowledge of solar market trends in India.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, with a results-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
