Job Title: Indian Cook

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Indian Cook who can prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. The candidate should be experienced in handling Indian spices, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, or regional cuisines as required)
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards
• Plan daily menus and assist in menu development
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients
• Ensure proper storage of food items
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
• Work efficiently during busy hours and maintain consistency

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and spices
• Ability to cook dishes like curries, biryani, tandoori items, breads (roti, naan)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 0–5 years of experience as an Indian Cook
• Certification in culinary arts (preferred but not mandatory)
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations
