Job Description

The HR Executive in a 3PL organization is responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, and performance management. The role requires supporting warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring adequate manpower, maintaining statutory compliance, and fostering a productive work environment.

  • Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors, and administrative roles.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to understand manpower requirements.
  • Source candidates through job portals, consultants, and local hiring drives.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference verifications.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and documentation.

2. Employee Onboarding & Off boarding

  • Facilitate smooth induction and orientation programs.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Handle exit formalities, including clearance, full-and-final settlements, and exit interviews.

3. Attendance & Payroll Cordination

  • Monitor attendance, shifts, overtime, and leave records.
  • Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Manage contractor attendance and billing verification.
  • Address employee queries related to compensation and benefits.

4. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain statutory records under PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and Minimum Wages Acts.
  • Liaise with government authorities and auditors when required.
  • Ensure compliance with the Contract Labor (Regulation & Abolition) Act.

5. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as a bridge between employees and management.

  • Resolve workplace grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organize training sessions, welfare activities, and events.

6. Performance Management & TrainingSupport performance appraisal processes and employee evaluations.

  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
  • Facilitate induction and safety training for warehouse staff.

7. HR Operations & AdministrationMaintain and update HRIS and employee databases.

  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Support audits and client compliance requirements.

8. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Coordinate with manpower agencies and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory norms for contractual employees.
  • Verify vendor invoices and service agreements.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.


  • Experience:

3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing, or 3PL companies.


  • Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong recruitment and employee engagement skills.
  • Experience in handling blue-collar workforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
