LPG Cylinder Commercial Driver

We are seeking a reliable and responsible LPG Commercial Vehicle Driver to manage the safe and timely delivery of LPG cylinders to customers’ homes. The driver will operate a delivery vehicle accompanied by a helper, ensuring efficient distribution, adherence to safety protocols, and proper handling of loaded and empty cylinders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the LPG delivery vehicle safely and efficiently along assigned routes.
• Ensure timely delivery of LPG cylinders to residential customers.
• Work in coordination with the helper, who will handle the majority of doorstep deliveries.
• Assist in cylinder delivery to customers when required.
• Load filled LPG cylinders onto the vehicle at the start of the shift.
• Unload empty cylinders at the end of the shift.
• Handle physical loading of approximately 5–6 cylinders per day (out of an average of 55 cylinders).
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation, if required.
• Follow all safety regulations related to LPG handling and transportation.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Work Timings:

• Reporting Time: 9:30 AM
• Shift End: Around 6:30 PM (once deliveries and unloading are completed)

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driving license.
• Prior experience in commercial or delivery vehicle driving preferred.
• Basic understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit to assist with occasional loading/unloading tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.

Additional Notes

• The helper will handle most of the cylinder deliveries to customer homes.
