Role Overview


Rivotta India is seeking dynamic and result-driven Sales Managers / Business Development Managers with strong experience in Audio-Visual, IT, and Office Automation solutions. The role focuses on driving business growth, managing government and corporate clients, handling tenders, and delivering integrated AV and IT solutions.


This position is ideal for professionals capable of independently managing clients, understanding technical requirements, and closing high-value projects.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Sales


• Generate business from Government Departments, Ministries, Bhawans, PSUs, Defence, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces, Railways, Embassies, Smart City Projects, Education Institutions, Universities, Enterprise clients, MNCs, and Corporates

• Build and manage client relationships to drive long-term business growth

• Conduct client meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and solution selling


Tendering & Government Sales


• Identify and participate in tenders through GeM, eProcurement, and PSU portals

• Prepare bid documentation and ensure compliance with tender requirements

• Follow up on submissions to improve conversion and order closures


Solution & Project Handling


• Understand client requirements and propose appropriate AV & IT solutions

• Prepare BOQ / RFP / BOM and technical specifications

• Handle system integration projects including:

• Auditoriums & Seminar Halls

• Command & Control Rooms

• Training Centres & Lecture Halls

• Boardrooms & Briefing Rooms

• Huddle Rooms


Product & Technology Expertise


Familiarity with:


• Large Format Display Panels

• Digital Signage Displays & CMS Software

• Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPD)

• Video Conferencing Solutions

• Active LED (Indoor & Outdoor)

• Integrated AV & Automation Systems

• Copier & Printers (Office Automation Solutions)


Candidate Profile


• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AV / IT / Office Automation solutions and system integration, including conference rooms, huddle rooms, seminar halls, auditoriums, and smart city projects. Strong knowledge of PA systems, PTZ cameras, and key components used in integrated solutions, along with their functionality and features.

• Proven experience in government sales, project handling, or relevant industry preferred

• Strong understanding of tenders, procurement, and vendor registrations

• Ability to handle customers independently and close deals

• Good technical understanding and solution-selling approach

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Strong track record of achievements and target completion
