Job Description
Taxi Drivers provide an essential service of transporting passengers from one location to another.
They often work irregular hours and need to be familiar with their city’s streets and landmarks.
They typically have the following duties and responsibilities:
Pick up passengers from prearranged locations or flag down taxi drivers on the streets
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, and help them with any luggage
Drive passengers to their destinations safely and efficiently
Follow GPS or maps to determine the best route and avoid traffic where possible
Collect fares from passengers and provide change if necessary
Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
Follow traffic laws and regulations
Resolve any customer complaints professionally
Maintain a log of travel destinations, fares, and other pertinent information
