Functional Roles and Responsibilities of Denter:

1. Ensure quality welding and fabrication are done for the vehicles and that the time allocated for the repairs has been utilized effectively. Report to the Body shop Team leader of any delays/difficulty in repairs.
2. Repair body panels and minor structural damage
3. Replace major welded panels
4. Carry out vehicle body and under-frame alignment
5. Carry out vehicle chassis measurement (CAR-O-LINER) and major sectional repair.
6. Ensure all additional repairs are authorized, parts are booked to the repair order, and warranty parts are retained to facilitate audit processes
7. Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures
8. Remove and replace vehicle body panels, panel sections, and ancillary fittings
9. Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
