We are currently seeking a Payments Business Analyst to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for payment systems and workflows.
• Conduct gap analyses and propose process improvements for payment operations, reconciliations, and customer payment journeys.
• Support payment product enhancements by working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
• Monitor payment success rates, transaction flows, settlement timelines, and processing costs.
• Identify root causes of payment failures and collaborate with stakeholders to define corrective actions.
• Analyze payment data to derive insights on customer behaviour, payment performance, fraud trends, and operational bottlenecks.
• Present analytical findings to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Liaise with payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, banks, and other partners to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.

 

Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience using SQL, Excel.
• Solid understanding of payment methods (Swift/SEPA), payment gateways, fraud controls, and settlement processes.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
