Job Description
A Business Development Manager (BDM) drives company growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and generating leads to increase revenue. They research market trends, negotiate deals, and collaborate with sales/marketing teams to improve brand recognition and meet growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and new market segments to identify expansion opportunities.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events or trade shows.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with new prospects and existing key accounts to foster partnerships.
- Sales & Negotiation: Lead the entire sales cycle, from negotiating and closing deals.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work with marketing and product teams to align strategies, and provide regular sales forecasts and status reports to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, networking, and project management skills.
