Senior Steward/Steward

Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, seating them, presenting menus, and informing them of daily specials.

Order Management: Taking detailed food/drink orders .

Cleanliness: Setting up tables with cutlery and linens, cleaning dirty tables, and maintaining a tidy work area.

Team Collaboration: Supporting kitchen staff and other servers during busy periods. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Communication: decent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and kitchen staff.

Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously under pressure.

Memory & Detail: Memorizing the menu and special requests.

Physical Stamina: important

Customer-Oriented: Friendly, patient, and professional attitude.

Work Environment

Waiters often work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Environment can be fast-paced, noisy, and crowded. 

Experience

While some employers require previous experience, many offer on-the-job training, especially in entry-level positions.
