Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Business Development Executive to manage inbound sales inquiries and contribute to the growth of our instrumentation and automation product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial measurement instruments (level, flow, pressure, temperature) and automation solutions. In this role, you will interact directly with potential customers, providing them with technical support, product information, and quotations, while identifying opportunities to close sales and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries from potential clients for instrumentation products (level, flow, pressure, temperature) and automation solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide expert guidance on suitable products and solutions based on their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide accurate product information, technical specifications, and pricing to customers.
- Prepare and submit quotations for products and services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to generate leads, manage accounts, and close deals.
- Follow up with leads, track inquiries, and manage the sales pipeline through CRM software.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing and potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitors to offer competitive solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and promotional campaigns to generate inbound sales leads.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer support in industrial instrumentation and automation products.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments for level, flow, pressure, and temperature, as well as automation systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical customers.
- Good understanding of inbound sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide customized solutions to customer needs.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in selling instrumentation or automation products.
- Knowledge of industrial applications and processes related to instrumentation and automation.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and the ability to generate quotes based on customer requirements.
- Experience with inbound sales strategies and handling inquiries effectively.
- Prior experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) is a plus.
