Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Spray Painter responsible for surface preparation and application of industrial coatings on fabricated and machined components. The role requires knowledge of different paint systems and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and degreasing
- Apply primer, intermediate, and top coats using spray painting equipment
- Handle PU, epoxy, enamel, and industrial coating systems
- Ensure proper mixing ratio, viscosity, and curing time
- Operate spray guns, compressors, and related painting equipment
- Maintain uniform coating thickness (DFT) and finish quality
- Identify and rectify defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, pinholes
- Follow paint specifications and job requirements
- Maintain tools, spray guns, and painting area
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of industrial painting and coating systems
- Experience with air spray / airless spray equipment
- Understanding of surface preparation standards
- Ability to work with drawings or paint specifications
- Attention to finish quality and detail
