Job Description
Core Sales Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities in the solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector, particularly focusing on Pune and surrounding regions.
- Site Assessments: Perform on-site visits to evaluate installation feasibility, assess power output expectations, and understand specific client budget constraints.
- Technical-Commercial Proposals: Prepare detailed cost-benefit analyses and customized business proposals tailored to residential or commercial energy needs.
- Client Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business through timely follow-ups on orders and payments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about government policies, subsidies, and incentives related to solar energy in Maharashtra to better advise potential clients. Expertia AI +4
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Typically 1+ years of experience in Solar EPC sales or related renewable energy sectors.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Business, or Marketing is preferred for understanding technical solar solutions.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is often critical for communicating with a diverse client base in Pune.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and two-wheeler are usually required for frequent site visits and field-based prospecting.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conversion rate of leads into closed sales contracts.
- Accuracy of sales forecasts and CRM data maintenance.
